[Minimus is lying on the floor of the space bridge while he calls Tech, but even if he just came back to the land of the living, his first thoughts are about the ship.]

[His monitors of the space bridge output did pick up the recent spike that usually signaled its activation.

The clone's tone is one of cautious relief.]

The threats have not yet been completely neutralized but activity has decreased, likely due to more becoming aware of and attending to the problem.

...are you all right?

I am alive. [It should be a good enough answer. It's better than being dead. Minimus groans as he pushes himself up into a sitting position.] Did our plan work?

...Have we found the cause of this? [If that much is true, Minimus can start convincing himself that his dead was not entirely a waste.]

Good to confirm. ...I'm glad to hear from you.

[He gives Minimus some time. It sounds like he's just returned, and Tech remembers how disorienting it was to find yourself there when the last thing you remembered was being moments from death elsewhere. It's a jarring thing to process.]

It did. Not...as smoothly as we intended. It was no pleasant task to report the results of the situation.

I have heard of no other incidents, thankfully. [Nothing nearly so dire, at least. He assumes the more belligerent appliances would reasonably be those meant to be scrapped, harboring some kind of inner resentment. As much as that makes sense for an appliance, anyway.]

[Tech pulls up security feed from the space bridge. It's relieving to see as Minimus gets up, considering the last state he'd seen the other in. He does some quick checks of other areas.]

The corridor to the junk room has been secured and no further breaches have been reported. Others aboard the ship have been taking care of things by their own methods, so this uprising has been for the most part, quelled.

I think it best you make contact with those closest to you. I'm sure they will be most relieved to hear you've returned.

Yes, yes, I'll make sure to get into contact with them. [He first needs to sit down and recover, hopefully in an empty room and not wander into a wake held by the many that have missed him.] Then, I have an arrest to make.

There was a post to the network that may as well be a claim for responsibility, actually. I don't think it was something so simple as tampering.
