"You've reached Tech. Currently I'm unable to respond, but if you leave a message, I shall get back to you as soon as I am able to, barring any unforeseeable circumstances, of course."
whoa that's quite a story so you're a clone soldier the jedi fought with you then you turned on em or something?
sorry about that all of it sounds real fucked up even the jedi bit a little like who commissions a clone army??? sounds like supervillain shit but at least they were nice to you
All clone soldiers were implanted with an inhibitor chip that the Kaminoans claimed to assist in regulating our behavior for compliance so as not to give into any unpredictable nature that our originator may have exhibited. This was not known to any of us, Jedi included, until an incident where a clone trooper terminated a Jedi during a mission. The chips were discovered but explained away as what I have earlier mentioned, and unfortunately everything else was written off as a type of parasitic infection.
When the war looked to be coming to an end by a tactical standpoint, that was when the special order was given, instantly triggering most clones who heard it to follow through without question in executing the Jedi. My squad was for the most part uninfluenced due to our experimental enhancements, but not without some setbacks and close-calls.
You are not wrong. The Jedi do hold a responsibility, and to a degree they maintained it in that they did their best to protect their troops. I do not think we would have been as fortunate under any other authority. And then there is the fact that a clone army had already been made even before the war had officially begun. Specifically created and trained for a singular purpose, I do not know that such a resource would have been wasted, and the Republic had no time to consider alternatives. Everything was executed quite succinctly, timing-wise. With a galaxy-wide war occurring, it served as an excellent cover for ulterior motives.
Truthfully it was a lot easier when we had only the war to apply ourselves to. It's been an ongoing adjustment since then.
I am glad to provide some reassurance. Even then, it would not be fair to all Jedi to consider them all bad or even good based upon such a broad scale. And I don't think you would have chosen someone bad to tether with, Harley.
I guess that makes sense then again I've always been a little more on the chaotic side so maybe straight up war doesn't suit me the best
yeah that makes sense there ain't no group that's all bad or good but like I didn't want to tether with someone who'd think it was cool to keep an army of clones as slaves or nothin that's kind of a red flag
Perhaps not. Yet even during the war, specialized as our unit was, we were largely left to our own devices in handling matters, which usually did not follow standard protocol. Chaos and its unpredictability can be useful in its own ways.
Yes, I have met Juhani. A fair choice for a tether. If it is of any consolation, she is from a time frame long before the Republic and the Jedi that have fought in the Clone Wars.
